ORDER

MUNIR A. SHEIKH, J.-- The petitioner is being tried under Sections 420, 409, 466, 467, 468, 471, 109,.

PPC and Section 3/4 of the Ehtesab Ordinance, 1996 for sanction of a mutation on which Union Council fee was not paid by the transferee. The charge against the petitioner is mis-use of his powers of the sanction of the mutation. The main beneficiary of the said mutation namely Muhammad Nawaz Khokhar is on bail. Three Tehsildars and to Patwaris who are also connected with the sanction of this, mutation have already been granted bail.

2. Learned counsel for the State has vehemently opposed the grant of ad-interim bail.

3. Till the disposal of the main petition which shall be fixed in the first week of the next available roster, the petitioner is allowed ad-interim bail in the sum of Rs.15,Q0,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Deputy Registrar of this Court at Lahore.
