1. ' ZAHID KURBAN ALVI, J.---This petition has been moved by the Association of the Outdoor Advertisers against the City District Government and the Province of Sindh. They have prayed as follows:-- "It is therefore, humbly prayed that the members of the petitioners' Association who have paid the registration fees and have applied for their licences and are prepared to pay all land rent and legal and valid advertisement/hoarding charges they may be issued necessary challans to enable them to deposit the same in the name of respondent No.1.
2. ' That the respondent No. I be restrained from taking any adverse action against the hoardings/advertisements boards and signsetc., otherwise the business of the members of the petitioners' Association will be completely ruined and it will result in the unemployment of thousands of the workers who are engaged by the members of the petitioners' Association in performance of. Their due work in the business.
3. ' Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case may be given in favour of the members of the petitioner's Association."
4. ' We have heard Mr. Fazle Ghani Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as Mr. Manzoor Ahmed learned counsel for the respondent No.1, who was present on pre-admission notice.
5. We have decided that by consent of both the sides this petition shall be disposed of with the observation that till the Special Committee, so constituted by the City Nazim/City District Government, comes to a conclusion and announces its final decision no adverse action shall be taken against those Advertising Companies who have applied for renewal of their licences after payment of registration fees. This order shall not apply to those hoardings which, due to the inclement weather may be needed to be pulled down.
6. ' The petition stands disposed of along with the listed application.
