MUHAMMAD FARRUKH MAHMUD, J.-- It is contended that Muhammad Rafique son of the petitioner is involved in some dacoity case and the police has failed to arrest him so far. Lt is further stated that instead of making efforts to arrest the culprit the police officers have chosen an easy course of harassing arid humiliating the petitioner and his other family members. It is further stated that the house of the petitioner is being frequently raided by the lady police officers and inmates of the house were abused and insulted.
The petitioner is allegedly made to sit at the Police Station for hours. The learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed out that the petitioner has severed all relations with Muhammad Rafiq, his son who was no more living with the petitioner or visiting the house of the petitioner. The contentions of the petitioner are supported by an affidavit.
2. Article 14 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 stands surety for the dignity of a citizen and the privacy of his home, ln these circumstances, respondent No. 1 is directed to remain within four comers of law and not to transgress his powers. He is further directed that in case he is to raid the house of the petitioner he would do so strictly in accordance with law and the Police Rules. He would also be accompanied by the Lady Police Officers, ln case the attendance of petitioner is needed at Police Station the petitioner would be summoned only through a written notice specifying the date and time, it has been mentioned in this petition that certain Cuttle- heads of the petitioner have been taken away by respondent No. 1 and handed over to respondent No. 5. The petitioner may if so advised can move the Area Magistrate for recovery of the same.
