' MIAN SAQIB NISAR, J.---This appeal (R.F.A. No,106/92), R.F.A. No,221/92, R.F.A. No,267/93, R.F.A.

No,266/93, R.F.A. No,266/92, R.F.A. No,267/92, R.F.A. No,194/92 and R.F.A. No, 201/92 are connected matters, involving the same question of law, thus, are being disposed of through a single judgment.

The appellants, filed suits for the recovery of finance, against the respondents under the provisions of Banking Tribunals Ordinance, 1984, these suits were decreed, but the relief of liquidated damages were refused. The appellants aggrieved on this part of the decree. The question whether the Bank under the provisions of ' Banking Tribunals Ordinance, 1984, are entitled to the liquidated damages has been conclusively determined by a learned Division Bench of this Court through the judgment reported as Allied Bank of Pakistan Ltd. Faisalabad v. Messrs Aisha Garments etc. 2001 M LD 1955, in which it has been held that the liquidated damages cannot be awarded by the Banking Tribunal. By following the reasoning and the ratio of the judgment aforenoted, these appeals have and merits, hence, dismissed.
