' The writ petitioner has challenged order dated 8-3-2002 passed by D.F.O., Layyah (respondent No,1) whereby writ petitioner was transferred from Lease Branch D.F.O., Office to Inayat Sub-Division, Chowk Azam of the Forest Department vice respondent No,3, as without lawful authority and of no legal consequence.
2. Posting and transfer of a civil servant is a matter pertaining to terms and conditions of service and a dispute with regard thereto falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Service Tribunal under clause(2) of Article 212 of the Constitution. Writ petition is, therefore, not competent and it is accordingly dismissed in limine.
