SYED JAMSHED ALI, J.-- The appellant was denied admission to the National College of Arts. He approached this Court in Writ Petition No. 4081 of 1998 which was dismissed vide order dated 9.3.1998. This appeal was admitted to regular hearing on 12.3.1998 and the appellant was allowed provisional admission.
2. The learned counsel for respondent No. 2 submits that since the appellant has completed the course of studies and only thesis is required to be submitted by him, it has been decided not to dis- locate the appellant in view of the interim order passed by this Court directing provisional admission of the appellant and he will be- allowed to submit his thesis as a regular student. Letter dated 2.4.2002 from the Registrar, National College of Arts addressed to the learned counsel for respondent No. 2 has also been produced and placed on the record.
3. In view of this undertaking the learned counsel for the appellant does not press this appeal which is, accordingly disposed of.
