Criminal case: F.I.R. No,196 dated 5-7-2001 for offence under sections 452, 506, 109, 148, 149 and 337, P.P.C. was registered at Police Station Shera Kot, Lahore on an application submitted by Zulfiqar regarding an occurrence which had taken place a day earlier. Allegation against the accused was that they vicariously armed. trespassed in the house of the complainant and belaboured on the complainant as well as prosecution witnesses. The attack on the complainant was stated to be result of election rivalry between the parties.
