' This is a petition on behalf of the petitioner against whom and someothers a case under section 302/148(149, P. P. C. Was registered at Police Station, Nankana on 5-8-75 at 11 a.m. The occurrence took place at 2 a.m.On the same day. The petitioner and his co-accused are not named in th F. I. R.
The petitioner was arrested on 27th August, 1975. The identifica- tion parade in respect of the petitioner was held on 3rd February, 1976 i.e. About 6 months after his arrest. Learned Sessions Judge, Sheikhupura has reported that the trial of the petitioner is likely to commence in March 1978.
2. Without discussing the merits of the case at this stage I think that the petitioner is entitled to bail.
The petitioner is allowed bail in the sum of Rs. 25,000 with two sureties in the like amount to the satisfaction of A.C., Sheikhupura.
