MALIK MUHAMMAD QAYYUM, J.--- Consolidation of village Karial Kalan Tehsil and District Gujranwala was confirmed by the Consolidation Officer on 31.3.1979. Six appeals were preferred against the confirmation before the Collector Consolidation who by virtue of his order dated 24.12.1979 made certain amendments in the khata. Some other adjustments were also made by the Collector on 1.6.1989. Against which an appeal was filed by the respondents which was accepted by the Additional Commissioner on 27.2.1990. The respondent No: .3 instead of challenging this matter further before the Board of Revenue has come to this Court by filing this petition.

So far as the cases of consolidation are concerned the law is well-settled that this Court cannot sit in appeal over the consolidation made by the Consolidation Officer nor can the adjustment of the land be interfered with. This petition also is liable to fail on the ground that the petitioners exhausted their remedy as they did not approach the Member Board of Revenue and as such this petition is not competent. No reason whatsoever for by-passing the Board of Revenue has been stated by the learned counsel.
This petition has no force. It is dismissed leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
