1. Admittedly, the petitioner had to pay approximately Rs. 98,000 to the respondent Town Committee.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner was evicted from the shop and he is not liable to pay rent for that particular period. In this regard, the petitioner has approached the present Administrator, who hat promised to consider the plea of the petitioner sympathetically.
3. It has been ensured by the learned counsel for the petitioner that if the Administrator does not accept the plea of the petitioner, he will make the payment subject to availing the remedy of appeal.
4. Learned A.A.G., on instructions has stated that if the petitioner approaches the Administrator, his case will be considered on merits and will be decided within a period of one week, thereafter the petitioner should make payment of remaining amount within a period of one month. This condition is acceptable to the petitioner. Therefore, it is directed that for one month, no coercive measures will be adopted against the petitioner for recovery of the outstanding amount.
