JUDGMENT KARAMAT NAZIR BHANDARI, J. - Case of the petitioner is that on 2.2.1989, he was appointed as Urdu Stenographer for a period of one year. Petitioner's services were terminated on 12.12.1991. He was reappointed as Junior Clerk after 15 days and on that post the petitioner continued for one-and a-half years. His services were again terminated but on his representation dated 3.10.1994, he was re-instated. His. Services were regularised on 28.8.1995, but he was again terminated on 17.4.1996. Against the order dated 17.4.1996, he tiled Writ Petition No. 6527 of 1996, along with some others and was able to obtain and interim order dated 22.4.1996. His claim in this petition is that he is entitled to be regularised from the date of first appointment viz. 18.11.1989 and he be directed to be paid the emoluments under the rules.
2. In the report and para were. Comments the claim is denied. It is stated that petitioner's services were rightly terminated and he is now in service as a result of interim order of this Court dated 22.4.1996, passed in Writ Petition No. 6527 of 1996. It is maintained that the interim order is subject to final decision of the writ petition. Petitioner's appointment in 1989 and afterwards have been described as political, Board having been compelled to issue appointment orders under the directions of Chief Minister, who had no authority to pass such directions.
3. During the course of hearing it. Transpires that Writ Petition No. 6527 of 1996, has been dismissed on 15.12.1996. Resultantly the petitioner is no longer in the service of the Board and his termination of service on 17.4.1996, has been upheld, by this Court, In the circumstances, no question arises to direct regularisation of the petitioner's service i.e.f 18.11.1989. This petition is without merit and is dismissed with costs.
