SAEED-UR-REHMAN FARRUKH, J.- The petitioner seeks bail in a case under section 16 of the Offence of Zina (Enforcement of Hudood) Ordinance, 1979 registered vide FIR No. 28/97 at Police Station Shadbagh, Lahore.
2. It is submitted that the petitioner is an aged person and has been falsely roped in the case. It is also argued that there is inordinate delay of .One and half month in lodging of the F.I.R, without there being any plausible explanation for it. Mst. Rashima Bibi, the alleged abductee is mother of ten children and there is no eye-witness of the occurrence from the locality from where she was allegedly abducted.
3. The petitioner is behind the bars for the last about five months and the prosecution has not yet embarked upon production of its evidence. Keeping in view the above facts, this petition is accepted and the petitioner is directed to be released on bail subject to his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- (Rs. Twenty five thousand) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of trial Court. revisions by the competent authorities.
