ORDER

' The petitioner was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment and to fine of Rs.10,000 or in default of its payment to further undergo R.I. For a period of four months under section 302. P.P.C.

On 21-10-1992. He has filed this application for suspension of the sentence on the statutory ground of lapse of a period of two years.

2. I have heard the arguments. It is in the judgment of the lower Court that the accused had caused the injuries to the deceased in the vindication of his honour. No doubt it is a single accused case but keeping in view the said observation of the learned trial Court I am inclined to accept this application as a period of two years has exceeded since when this petitioner was convicted.

3. I, therefore, accept this application and admit this petitioner to bail in the sum of Rs.2,00,000 (Rupees two lac) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge. Sahiwal with the direction to appear on every date of hearing as and when the appeal is fixed.
