DECISION ' The appellant was appointed as a Dispenser attached to a Doctor for Gujju Canal construction. His appointment was on daily wages for a fixed period of less than 9 months. His appointment was to be terminated at the close of the work with effect from 28-9-1991 and it was so terminated by a written order giving reasons.
2. The dispenser was not a worker. He has admitted in his cross-examination that: "I was dispenser in Steel Mills and was not doing any manufacturing work. It is incorrect to suggest that I have no right for re-instatement as I was daily wages employee and I was terminated according to termination letter."
3. His services have thus been terminated by an order in writing giving reasons and it has not been established that he was a worker nor has it been A shown that the I.R.O. And the Standing Orders Ordinance will apply to his case. r' The appeal is accordingly dismissed.
