ORDER

JIWAN KHAN, J.- This is a revision petition against the order dated 23.4.1989 of Additional Commissioner (Revenue), Multan Division, whereby he accepted the appeal against the order dated 10.3.1985 of District Collector, Khanewal, through which he had cancelled mutation No.77 of Chak No. 154/10-R, Tehsil and District Khanewal on the ground that the tenancy comprising of Khasras No. 2/22, 62/1 to 5, 9 to l2, 19 to 21 and 22/1 measuring I0O kanals, I6 marlas in Chak No. 154/10-R,. Tehsil and District Khanewal had been transferred without seeking prior permission under Section of 19 the Colonization of Governments Lands (Punjab) Act, 1912.

2. The present revision petition was filed on 15.4.1991. It is thus the- barred by almost two years. The delay has no where been explained.

3. It is pleaded on behalf of the petitioners that they were mis-guided by their counsel and therefore they went to the Civil Court. It-was only when they realized the mistake that they filed the revision petition.

4. The leamed counsel for the respondents pointed out that the conveyance deed had since been issued after rectifying the rectifiable breach. No fraud had been played on the petitioners. In fact, their father during his life-the had, through a registered deed, transferred the tenancy in respondent's their favour. The provisions of Section 30, sub-section (2) of the Colonization of Government Lands (Punjab) Act are not therefore attracted in this case.

5. The revision petition is hopelessly the-barred. As the delay has nowhere been explained by the petitioners, the revision petition is dismissed.
