ORDER SAJJAD AHMAD SIPRA J-- The petitioner is an accused in a case registered vide F.I.R. No. 30, dated 1.9.1994, under section 161, P.P.C, and Section 5(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947, at Police Station A.C.E., Sheikhupura.
2. The learned counsel for the parties were heard at length in respect of the contentions raised herein.
3. It was confirmed on behalf of the State that the case in question was registered after a delay of 2 years, and that the offences alleged are not hit by the prohibitory clause and that no recovery has been effected from the petitioner.. It was further confirmed that the petitioner is no longer required by the police and is neither a previous convict nor a hardened criminal.
4. Therefore, the petitioner is admitted to bail in the sum of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand only), with two sureties in the like amount, to the satisfaction of the A.C./Duty Magistrate, Sheikhupura.
5. Copy dasti on payment of usual charges.
