ORDER RAJA AFRAS1AB KHAN, J.- On 20-12-1992, a case under section 302/148/149/324 PPC was registered against the petitioner and others with Police Station Sarai Mughal District Kasur vide F.I.R. No.343/92. This petition has been instituted by the petitioner for his admission to bail in the aforesaid case on the ground that there is no evidence to connect him with the commission of the crime. Bail application has been opposed by the learned State counsel on the ground that the petitioner is named as an accused in the F.I.R.
2. After , hearing the learned counsel for the parties and perusing the record, prima facie, we find that the petitioner while armed with a rifle fired-and injured Muhammad Jamil on his right thigh.
The injury allegedly caused by the petitioner is grievous. The trial against him has also been filed on 18.9.1994. In the circumstances,' no case for grant of bail has been made out. The petition is accordingly dismissed.
