The main grievance for abashment of the F.I.R. Is that under the Notification, dated 21-11-1964 Sub- Divisional Officer and the Meter Inspector has no authority to get the case registered. Learned counsel for respondent WAPDA has placed on record a copy of the Notification No,5331-6131/ G.M.D./D( )/55723, dated 13-3-1983 whereby the S.D.O. Has been authorized A to institute proceedings under section 50 of the Water and Power Development Authority Act, 1958. The other pleas raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner cannot be gone into in summary proceedings.
2. In view of the above position emerging from the record, there is note force in this petition which is hereby dismissed.
