DECISION ' The appellant was employed as a workman in the Security 'Papers Limited on retirement from the Army. He then discarded his old papers regarding date of birth. Obtained new Identity Card and furnished a Birth Entry Certificate from his native place, on which basis he asked for later age of superannuation. This was refused, whereupon he gave grievance notice, and filed grievance petition before the IVth Sindh Labour Court, Karachi. The Labour Court dismissed the petition as not being maintainable. Against this order he has filed this appeal.
2. The learned Advocate for the Security Papers Limited has at the ,very outset pointed out that under section 1(3)(e) of the Industrial Relations Ordinance, 1969, the same does not apply to any person employed by the Pakistan Security Printing Corporation or the Security Papers Limited.
There is also Notification of Government of Sindh exempting Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Pvt.) Limited, Karachi and Security Papers Limited, Karachi from the provision of Standing Orders Ordinance. This was initially to remain in force for six months but it is being extended from time to time. Petition is not therefore maintainable.
3. Moreover, the appellant has, once again, reached the age of retirement as claimed by him on 26-10-1995 and he cannot be re-instated in service on the ground of alteration of the date of his birth. This appeal is not, .Therefore, maintainable and is, accordingly, dismissed.
