' The grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of order having been passed by the D.I.-G., Gujranwala, the S.S.P. Has taken no action on the application of the petitioner, dated 7-3-1995.
2. The prayer made in this petition for transfer of the investigation cannot be allowed by this Court in its Constitutional jurisdiction. It is a matter which is to be settled by the department itself. The Inspector-General of Police sitting at the apex is there to ensure that his subordinates remain within the bounds of law and to get the orders of the senior Police Officer carried out by the subordinates. With this 'observation writ petition stands disposed of.
