RANA MUHAMMAD ARSHAD, J.- The petitioners have brought this petition calling in question the registration of case FIR No. 45/96 dated 22.2.1996 registered with Police Station, Sara-e-Saddu, District Khanewal under section 363/34 PPC against Muhammad Amal Ashraf, Habib Raza and Riaz for causing the abduction of Mst. Rani, minor, from the custody the complainant-Muhammad Ramzan, grandfather of the alleged abductee.
2. The mother of Mst. Rani, Habib Raza and real maternal uncle of the alleged abductee have entered appearance before me and have stated this occurrence had not taken place as narrated in the FIR. The minor-Mst. Rani is already residing with her mother namely Mst. Shamim who on account of her estrangement has deserted the house of her husband and at present is putting up with her real brother Habib Raza.
3. The principal grievance of the petitioners is that the Investigating Officer of the aforesaid case has been approached time and again but neither he has recorded the counter version of the aforesaid persons nor he is ready to associate them with the proceedings of the investigation.
4. The Investigating Officer of the above referred case is directed to record the counter-version of the petitioners/accused persons named in the FIR and the statement of the mother of the alleged abductee Mst. Rani and take into consideration to proceed further with the investigation.
5. In this view of the matter, the learned counsel for the petitioners feels satisfied and does not press this petition any further so the same is disposed of as having not been pressed.
