1. SAEED-UR-REHMAN FARRUKH, J. - The petitioners were allowed ad- erim pre-arrest bail vide order dated 2-1-1997. I have heard the learned counsel the parties. it is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the land in dispute was purchased by them and mutation in lieu thereof was duly attested and their names are duly reflected as owners in the Register Haqdarran Zameen for the .Year 1991-92.
2. It is further contended that a false case has been registered against the petitioners under Section 420/468/471/506/466 PPC and thus they are being pressurized to forego their rights of ownership in the disputed land.
2. The allegation of threat to life levelled in the FIR is of general nature and no specific incident is mentioned. The question as to whether the alleged sale really took place or it is through fraud and forgery that the petitioners have manoeuvred to acquire the disputed land is a matter of inquiry.
3. Admittedly the complainant has not assailed the validity of the mutation before the higher Revenue Authorities. The petitioners are reported to have joined the investigation.
4. In the circumstances, to the petitioners on 2-1-1997 is confirmed.
