ORDER

MUHAMMAD NASEEM, J. - On the basis of the registration of FIR No. 11 dated 22-1-1989 at Police Station Ahmad Yar District Pakpattan Sharif Bahadur petitioner was convicted and sentenced to R.1, for a period of three years and a fine of Rs. 3,000/- or in default of its payment to undergo further R.I. For six months under section 326/34 P.P.C. The appeal preferred by him was dismissed on 4.9.1995 by the Additional Sessions Judge, Arifwala District Pakpattan Sharif. Hence this revision petition which was admitted for regular hearing on 13-11-1995.

2. This Criminal Miscellaneous No.1 of 1996 is for the admission of Bahadur petitioner to bail. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned State counsel and gone through the record before me. The appeal of Bahadur petitioner was dismissed on 4-9-1995 who was arrested and since then he is undergoing his aforesaid sentence. The revision petition has not been fixed for regular hearing and even there is no likelihood in this regard. Keeping in view this aspect of the matter as well as the fact that the revision petition stands admitted for regular hearing, I admit Bahadur petitioner to bail in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge, Arifwala District Pakpattan Sharif who after attestation of the bail bond etc. Shall send the same to the Deputy Registrar of this Bench for addition to this file. The petitioner shall appear before this Court on every date of hearing as and when the revision petition is fixed failing which he shall be liable to face the legal consequences.
