ORDER This is an application under section 50 of the Industrial Relations Ordinance, 1969 (hereinafter called the Ordinance), for interpretation of a Settlement dated 2nd November 1973. I find that Mr. Suleman Habib, for the applicant, prayed for interpretation of clause 9, of the settlement which runs as under:-- "The Management has agreed to grant the benefit of statutory Gratuity to all such terminees or resignees to whom it would be applicable under the law."
2. Mr. Wasi Ahmad for the opposite side submitted that section 50 of the Ordinance would apply only if there is any difficulty or ambiguity ini law, settlement or award. He submits that there is no ambiguity or difficulty!/! to interpret clause 9, reproduced above. This is so. The application is! dismissed.
