SH.KHIZAR HAYAT, J.- This application for suspension of sentence is moved on behalf of Hafiz Muhammad Asif and Uaqat Ali alias Popi, convicts/applicants who stand convicted u/s 302/149 PPC and sentenced to imprisonment for life plus i.e each. They have been additionally convicted u/s 148 PPC and sentenced to 2 years' R.L, vide judgment dated 29.4.1992 passed by A.S.J.
Gujranwala.
2. It is submitted that only ineffective firing is attributed to the applicants. It is further submitted that sentence of Ijaz Baig, co-convict of the applicants has been suspended by this Court vide order dated 16.11.1993 whose case is identical to that of the applicants. Learned counsel for State has however opposed the application.

We have considered the contentions of learned counsel for the parties and find that ineffective firing is attributed to the applicants and their case is at par with that of Ijaz Baig whose sentence has already been suspended by this Court. Consequently, we allow this application and direct that the convicts/applicants be released subject to their furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- each with two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of A.C. Gujranwala. revisions by the competent authorities. Therefore, it is advisable to consult the official sources or legal professionals for the most up-to-date and accurate information.
