' ABDUL MAJID TIWANA, J.---The petitioners who are convicts in a murder case having been sentenced to imprisonment for life and some fine, seek the suspension of their sentence on statutory grounds.
2. They were convicted and sentenced, vide judgment, dated 2-6-1990, and their appeal has not yet been taken up for hearing, nor it is likely to be heard in the near future.
3. The attribution against them is that they had caused injuries to the prosecution witnesses. In these circumstances their sentence is suspended and they are granted bail if they furnish bail- cum-surety bonds in the sum of Rs,50,000 each with one surety each in the like amount to the satisfaction of Assistant Commissioner/Duty Magistrate, Sahiwal, who shall, after the attestation of bonds, forward the same to the Deputy Registrar (Judicial) of this Bench for placing them on the record.
