1. Petitioner was convicted to nine months R.I. With a fine of Rs.5,000 for an offence under section 161, P.P.C. Read with section 5(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947, by Special Judge, Anti- Corruption, Sargodha, vide his judgment, dated 10-2-1-991. Since the sentence is short and the appeal is not likely to come up for hearing in the near future. Therefore, I accept the A petition and allow bail provided he furnishes security in the sum of Rs.10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only) with one surety, in the like amount to the satisfaction of Assistant Commissioner/Duty. Magistrate, Faisalabad.
