ORDER

1. Learned counsel states that the accused have committed a cognizable offence and that a complaint was made before the Police Officer for registration of a case against them. According to the learned counsel, no action whatsoever has been taken so far on complaint of the petitioner.

2. Attention of the Court has been drawn to the copy of medical certificate vide Annexure `A', showing injuries on the person of Mst. Parveen Khalid, the petitioner. The learned Additional Advocate- General has opposed the petition. Accused Police Officers are also present and have been heard.

3. They have denied the commission of offence. In my view the allegations, levelled are serious in nature. The medical certificate showing injuries on the person of the petitioner has been placed on record. In the peculiar circumstances of the case, a A direction is issued to the S.P. City, Lahore, to record statement of the petitioner with a view to proceed further in the matter. In case some cognizable offence is made out, he will accordingly register a case against the accused. With this observation, this petition stands disposed of.
