' It is pointed out by Mr. Muhammad Naazar Khan Administrator, that the registered office of Taj Company Limited, respondent in this matter, has been at Lahore since 1929, when the company was incorporated and at no point of time the registered office had been at Karachi or elsewhere than Lahore. Learned Administrator has referred to section 7 of the Ordinance 1984, and also to a decision of the Lahore High Court in the case of Muzaffar Ali Awan v. M/s. Pioneer Alliance (Pvt.) Ltd., reported in PLD 1989 Lahore 106.

' Mr. Muhammad Ashraf Bhatti, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the petitioner had all along been under the impression that the registered office was at Karachi but, from the documents filed by the Administrator and the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Karachi, it is apparent that the registered office has always been at Lahore. In view of the provisions of section 7 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition.
3. J.M. No,86 of 1990 which is dismissed as withdrawn. CMA No,1268 of 1991 has been infructuous.

' The Administrator states that the petitioner can file his claim before the Board of Administrators and till now no time limit has been fixed by the Lahore High Court for filing claims and as and when the claim is received from the petitioner it will be registered and further action will be taken in accordance with the law.
5. ' As this petition had been filed, learned Administrator was asked about the assets of Taj Company Limited and the amount due from Taj Company Limited to various investors who had invested money from time to time in Taj Company Limited. The Administrator is not in a position to give exact figures but roughly he estimates the claims to total round,Rs,200 crores and a rough estimate of the value of the assets of Taj Company Limited is about Rs,30 crores.
