1. DECISION This is an application for condonation of delay in filing the appeal. The impugned order was passed on 24th May 1973. The appeal has been filed on 23rd July 1973. The limitation prescribed is thirty days from the date of the award. The appeal, therefore, should have been filed on 24th June 1973. The appellant got the copy of the award on lst June 1973. He has deposed in his affidavit that he fell ill on 23rd June 1973 and has filed a Certificate of the Doctor in support of the same. It would appear from the Doctor's Certificate that the appellant fell ill on 23rd June 1973 and he was advised rest for three days at least. The appeal, therefore, could have been filed, at any rate, on 27th June 1973, but the same had been filed on 23rd July 1973. There is no explanation, whatsoever, for delay from 27th June 1973. There is no ground for condonation of delay. The appeal is dismissed as time-barred.
