1. Mst. Zahida Parveen daughter of Amanat Ali and AM Rashid son of Rashid Ahmad are present. They state that they are married. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that Mst. Zahida Parveen is aged 18 years and that she has voluntarily married with the petitioner on 21-8-1991.
2. Learned Law Officer states that it cannot be said that Nikahnama is a genuine document. In the circumstances of the case a direction is issued to the Investigating Officer to look into the vires of Nikah. In case he comes to the conclusion that Nikahnama is a genuine document he will drop the criminal proceedings initiated against the petitioner.
3. With this observation this petition stands disposed of.
