SHAFIUR RAHMAN, J.--These four Petitions arise out of the same judgment of the High Court dated 10-1-1988 whereby the two Civil Revision Petitions filed in the High Court were dismissed.

2. We find after hearing the learned counsel for the parties that notwithstanding the fact that the trial ended in ex parte decree against the appellants not only the immovable property involved in the case is extensive and valuable, substantial questions of law arise in the cast namely the maintainability of the suit, its valuation, its being within time and on merits the sufficiency of the evidence and the effect of the absence of necessary parties.

3. We, therefore, grant leave to appeal in all these Petitions and direct that status quo be maintained with regard to possession.

4. The appeals be made ready for hearing at an early date, in view of the importance of the matter and the large number of parties involved in it.
