DECISION ' This is an appeal against the order of learned Presiding Officer, Sindh Labour Court No, V, Karachi, dated 21-8-1989.
2. The facts of the case appear to be that the appellant was appointed as Corrector by the respondent on 25-9-1975 and worked in that capacity till 14-1-1986. Vide order, dated 4-9-1986 he was informed as under:-- "Consequent upon the change-over to new system, letterpress and Rotary section etc. Have been closed down. The surplus staff is being absorbed in other sections, instead of effecting any retrenchment.
' You being a surplus staff is sitting idle since a considerable long time, and getting salary from the management.
' You are hereby transferred to work in job section as a Helper with immediate effect. You should report forthwith to Manager (Production)/Manager (Colour Works).
' Your emoluments, grade and benefits will however remain unchanged.

' However, on 13-10-1986 again he was transferred and appointed as Paper Cutter under the orders which are reproduced as under-- ' In supersession to communication No, G.M.(P)/P-H.L/VIII (1)86/113, dated 9th September, 1986, under the directives of the Employer. You are hereby transferred with immediate effect as a Paper Cutter, in Grade VI in Paper Cutting Section without any change in your grade and emoluments.

' The appellant aggrieved by this order filed the grievance petition wherein he prayed that he may be restored to the post of Checker or provided job of Cutter and Paster in the Library which is equivalent job to the post of Corrector/Checker.
3. I have heard Mr. S.P. Lodhi, representative for the appellant.
4. From the above two orders, reproduced above, it will be clear that neither the grade nor emoluments of the appellant have been reduced. The section in which he was working had been closed and the management had option even to retrench him but instead they have absorbed him in other job where his grade, pay and emoluments etc. Have been protected. The appellant does not have any secured right to be posted to any particular section or particular post which could be enforced under section 25-A, I.R.O., 1969. The post on which he had been working has admittedly been abolished. He has, therefore, no cause of action even if revision application is held to be in time. Therefore, it is not maintainable. The appeal is, accordingly, dismissed in limine.
5. Mr. S.P. Lodhi has submitted that same uncalled for remarks have been passed by the Presiding Officer in the judgment which are hereby expunged.
