ORDER'
1. S. A. RAHMAN, J.-Leave to appeal was granted in this petition by order dated the 4th March 1966. At the same: time it was directed that the ad interim order passed by this Court,, suspending the order of the Board of Revenue, should continue to remain in force pending disposal of the appeal. The consequence was that the petitioners could' ply their buses on the permit held by them, which had been suspended by order of the Board of Revenue. It is now complained on behalf of the petitioners by Mr. Mahmood Ahmad Qureshi, that the petitioners were not being granted renewal of the permits which had in the meantime expired due to efflux of time. This Court cannot take the place l of the administrative authorities and direct renewal of an expired permit. If the petitioners are being denied any legal right in this context, they may resort to such remedy as may be open to them. No further order can be passed by this Court. The petition praying that the departmental authorities be directed to, renew the permits of the petitioners, is hereby dismissed.
