1. A criminal case under sections 342/161 and 109 read with section 5(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947 has already been registered against the accused with Police Station Anti- Corruption Establishment, Okara. The grievance is that no further action has been taken inasmuch as the case has not been investigated so far. It is argued that the accused have not been arrested as yet. A complaint was also sent by the petitioner to the Inspector-General of Police, Lahore requesting him to take appropriate action in the matter according to law. Learned Law Officer has no objection if a direction is issued to the I.G. Police for disposal of the complaint, Annexure `B' according to law. In the circumstances the Inspector-General of Police shall dispose of the complaint of the petitioner, referred to above on its merits according to law as early as possible.
2. With this observation, this petition stands disposed of:
