1. ORDER The Appeal is clearly time-barred. The Award was given on the 7th of March 1973, while the Appeal has been filed on the 17th of July 1973. Copy for the Award was applied on the 7th of April 1973. The Office supplied copy of the Award on the same day, that is, 7th of April, 1973. The appeal should have been filed within thirty days of the Award. The only ground for condonation of delay is that the Representative of the appellant was not well and, therefore, the appeal could not be filed within time. Every day that the appeal is beyond time has to be specifically explained. The appellant was not careful even to file an affidavit to support the Application for condonation of delay under section 5 of the Limitation Act. The long illness of the Representative of the appellant is no ground for condonation of delay. The appellant himself should have filed the Appeal. The Appeal is dismissed as beyond time.
