1. NASIM HASAN SHAH, J.---The petitioner filed a revision petition against the judgment and decree dated 23-6-1985 passed by the Additional District Judge, Sialkot. The revision petition was admitted and a status quo order issued on 9-7-1985. This order was confirmed, subject to certain conditions by another learned Single Judge of the High Court on 19-12-1987 after hearing both the parties. However, this order was again modified by another learned Single Judge on 6-6-1989, again after hearing the parties. By this order not only was the status quo granted to the petitioner recalled but he was also issued a notice to show cause why he should not be proceeded against for contempt of Court. In this petition for leave to appeal, the aforesaid order, dated 6-6-1989 is challenged.
2. We have heard Ch. Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.R. Shaukat, Advocate, who has appeared in support of the caveat filed by respondent No.5.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties we feel that it is not appropriate to continue dealing with interlocutory matters and that it would be more appropriate if the main civil revision petition was itself disposed of. That petition was instituted on 7-7-1985 and has been pending since over 4 years although the matter has been come before the Court on three occasions during this period and on two of the said occasions both the parties were also present before the Court.
4. We would, therefore, request the High Court to hear the main matter at an early date and dispose of the civil revision and other connected petitions within two months, if possible.
5. This petition, with these observations, stands disposed of.
