ORDER

This is an appeal against the direction dated 22-10-1973 given to the Registrar, Trade Union, Lahore Region, Lahore, by the Punjab Labour Court No. 1, Lahore, for the cancellation of the registration of the appellant Union.

2. Mr. H. R. Haider, representative of the respondent, raised a preliminary objection that the appeal is premature because the Registrar has not so far passed an order for the cancellation of the registration of the appellant Union.

3. According to section 10 of Industrial Relations Ordinance, 1969, Registrar has to cancel the registration of a Trade Union if the Labour Court so directs. Under section 11 of I. R. O., 1969, an appeal lies only against the cancellation of the registration of a Trade Union by the Registrar and not against the direction given by the Labour Court to cancel the registra--tion. Therefore it is clear that this appeal is premature and is accordingly dismissed as such.
