Faqir Muhammad petitioner alleges that Muhammad Anwar Inspector, C.I.A. Staff, Gujrat had asked him to supply timber to him on credit basis but he declined to do so. On the night between 25/26th April, 1991 Muhammad Anwar, Inspector, C.I.A., Muhammad Ashraf, S.I., P.S., `A' Division, Gujrat and some other persons trespassed into his house. They hurled filthy abuses at his were and daughter, broke open the lock of Almirah and took away Rs.56,000. He approached the police authorities for the registration of case against them but with no result. Hence this writ petition.
2. A report was called from S.P., Gujrat. He has denied the allegations. According to him a dacoity had taken place in Habib Bank Limited in which Rs.1,13,326 were taken away. The persons involved in the said case were wanted by the police. An information was received that they were staying with one Liaquat Ali, a real nephew of the petitioner. Consequently, a raid was made at his house. The police party was informed that Liaquat Ali was not available on which the police party returned.
3. In the circumstances narrated above the allegations levelled by the petitioner do not appear to be true. Accordingly, I do not feel persuaded to order registration of the case against the respondents and dismiss the petition. The petitioner may, however, file a private complaint if he so desires. revisions by the competent authorities.
