' IRSHAD HASAN KHAN, J.--This appeal arises out of the judgment dated 10-2-1991, passed by learned Single Judge in Chamber, whereby he upheld the order dated 21st January, 1991, passed by a Rent Controller, Lahore, and directed the petitioner to deposit the arrears of rent amounting to Rs,73,500 before the target date and also to continue to deposit monthly rent at the rate of Rs, 3,500 under section 13 (6) of the Punjab Rent Restriction Ordinance, 1959.
2. Remedy by way of appeal is available against the final order of the Rent Controller before the District Judge and this being so the order passed by the learned Single Judge in Chamber is not open to appeal under the proviso of section 3 of the Law Reforms Ordinance, XII of 1972. The appeal, therefore, fails and is hereby dismissed being incompetent.
