As has been noticed in my order of even date in Writ Petition No,2956 of 1989, Javed Masih, the alleged detenu, has not been traced and recovered despitelA further efforts made by the police officials of Sheikhupura District.
2. The S.P. Of Sheikhupura who is present in Court in connection with the above-said writ petition submits that he has taken cognizance of the matter in pursuance of the observations made by this Court in the order dated 17-7-1989 passed in the aforementioned writ petition which has led to the present Criminal Original and that he shall take appropriate steps at his own level to look into the conduct of Rashid Ahmad Si.
3. In this view of the matter no further proceedings in pursuance of the notice issued to Rashid Ahmad S.I. Respondent arc called for.
4. The notice issued to the accused/respondent is discharged and this petition is disposed of accordingly.
