Muhammad Irshad bailiff of this Court has submitted his report dated 12-9-1989. According to the report the alleged detunes were Via( found in the custody of the respondents. However, the petitioner Muhammad Iqbal submits that the detenus were taken into custody by the respondent Police Officers and that they have been concealed somewhere else with ulterior motive.
2. I have heard the learned Advocate-General, Punjab, and the parties. The S.H.O. Police Station Chak Jhumra is directed to find out the four detents and if they are found detained somewhere, they shall he released immediately. This shall be done within 10 days' time. Further, respondent No, 1 shall give information to the learned Advocate-General, Punjab, after recovery and release' of the detents. With this observations, this petition stands disposed of.
