ORDER

' Khalid Hussain and Sher Muhammad petitioners along with four others stand convicted on 18-2- 1987 under sections 302 and 148 P.P.C. They were awarded life imprisonment plus fine under section 302 P.P.C. And one year R.I. Plus fine under section 148 P.P.C. Both the sentences were to run concurrently.

2. They have applied for suspension of sentences on the ground that their appeal could not be disposed of within the statutory period and further that the sentences of their co-accused stand suspended by this Court for non-disposal of the appeal within the statutory period.

3. Learned counsel for the State has not opposed the application. Consequently the petition is granted and the sentences of the petitioners are suspended subject to their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs,25,000 (Rupees twenty-five thousand) with two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of A.C. Hafizabad.
