1. The sentences awarded to the petitioners do not extend beyond a period of five years. They were convicted more than a year ago and their appeal has not yet been heard. Their case is covered by clause (b) of subsection (1-A) of section 426 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Let the petitioners be admitted to bail on their executing bonds in the sum of Rs,7,000 with two sureties each, to the satisfaction of the Assistant Commissioner, Sahiwal.
