1. A case under section 13/14/18 Offence of Zina (Enforcement of Hudood) Ordinance, 1979, stands registered against Suleman Khan petitioner and two others with Police Station North Cantt. Lahore, vide F.I.R. Dated 1-6--1989. The bail was being sought on the ground that the petitioner was sick and infirm. In order to verify the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner a direction to the Medical Officer, District Jail, Lahore, was issued to examine the petitioner with regard to his health and age. A report from the Medical Officer has been received, according to which the petitioner has mature Cataract in his left eye which needs surgery. The right eye had already been operated upon. The report further reveals that he was an old man and was Diabetic for which he was being treated.
