' This is an appeal against the decision dated 9-t, -1987 recorded by learned Presiding Officer Punjab Labour Court No,8, Bahawalpur whereby the grievance petition of the appellant was dismissed on the ground that neither it was presented by the appellant himself nor he appeared before the Court after presentation during the period of limitation meant for bringing the grievance petition. In the grounds of the appeal it is not urged that the grievance petition was presented by the appellant himself or that he was present along with his counsel in he Court at the time of presentation or that he had himself appeared before the Court after the date of presentation within limitation. Since admittedly the grievance petition was not presented by the appellant himself, the same could not proceed. No doubt, the learned lower Court has dismissed the petition but since it was not decided on merits the order of dismissal amounts to rejection of the petition.
2. There is no merit in the appeal, the same, therefore, is dismissed in limine.
