1. ' This is a petition for suspension of sentence. The petitioner has been convicted under section 409, P.P.C. And sentenced two years R.I. Plus fine vide order dated 19-3-1988 passed by Senior Special Judge Anti-Corruption Lahore. Since the sentence is short and there is no likelihood of the appeal being disposed of in the near future, therefore, I feel inclined to suspend the sentence of the appellant applicant. He be released subject to his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs,50,000 with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of trial Court during the pendency of appeal.
