' This is a revision petition filed by Sohail Akhtar, petitioner, for the reduction of the amount of the bail bonds to be furnished by him, pursuant to the order of the learned Special Judge, Customs and Anti-Smuggling, Lahore, dated 1-10-1987.

By order dated 1-10-1987 the learned Special Judge, Customs. and Anti-Smuggling, Lahore, accepted the bail petition of Sohail, petitioner, and directed him to be released on bail, subject to his furnishing security in the sum of Rs,1,00,000/- with two sureties each in the like amount to his satisfaction
3. On behalf of the petitioner it is submitted that the value of the bonds directed to be furnished by the learned Special Judge, Customs and Anti-Smuggling, Lahore, is highly excessive and the petitioner being merely a carrier, is not in a position to furnish such excessive bail bonds.

5. It is alleged that the petitioner was merely a carrier for some other principal and is not in a position to furnish such excessive bail bonds. Without going on the record as having given any finding in the matter, I would reduce the bail to the sum of Rupees Fifty. Thousand (Rs,50,000) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Customs and Anti- Smuggling, Lahore. With this observation this petition stands disposed of accordingly. revisions by the competent authorities.
