1. The applicant is facing proceedings under section 8(3)(6) of the Sind Crime Control Act. The notice was issued on 19-12-1982 and the prosecution has failed to produce the witnesses against the applicant. The maximum period of three years has already expired and a person cannot be bound down beyond a maximum period of three years.
