The petitioner has been convicted under section 307 , P.P.C. And has been ordered to suffer R.I. For four years and a fine of Rs.5,000 and in default thereof to undergo R.I. For one year.
2. The petitioner has moved a petition for the suspension of the sentence on the ground that the term of sentence is short. The petitioner is in jail since 10-6-1985. Since it is a case of short sentence, I allow bail to the petitioner in the sum of Rs.30,000 with two sureties in the like amount to the satisfaction of A.C. /Duty Magistrate, Khanewal till the disposal of his appeal.
